Yes, casual is optimal for the place.
Yes, but it tends to fill up quickly during brunch hours.
Yup
Yes!
Prolly not, maybe call
It's definitely tasty, well prepared and interesting. I would rate it highly and think the prices are correct for the quality of food. It's also a very nice place to enjoy your meal and the company with you as you eat.
They take/make modifications on request
Amazing cozy restaurant with a great food and excellent service. This is a perfect spot to celebrate an important occasions.Great wine list and delicious desserts. I would highly recommend to try Poke Tuna and Burger - just fantastic. As for dessert - "Three leches" is just fantastic!!
The outside looks old and mediocre, but I was surprised by how good the food was. The truffle fries were excellent and the lamb ragu was fantastic. Lamb is rarely done well so I was pleasantly surprised.
Nice place and good food
Great quality food, nice plate presentation, appropriate size. Was here for New Year's Eve with my bf and we had a great meal. Roasted Chicken with truffle oil was soft, tender with crispy skin. The lamb was kind of dry and rough, but still had good flavor. The server was just 2 weeks new at the restaurant and it showed; he wasn't super familiar with the drinks on the special NYE menu, forgot our appetizer totally which we were really excited for. So all and all the food was good, but the service was not as polished as I wanted or expected. I'd think this teeters between 4-5 stars.
Great historical building revamped to create an airy atmosphere. Some of the dishes were excellent, like the roasted pork belly and east meets west chicken soup. No one cared for the Mac and Cheese as it had a heavy mushroom flavor. It is worth a stop if you are in the Presidio.
Went after lunch, but before dinner.Food was not very good. Every dish we ordered need a extra sauce or kick.Drinks were good. The restaurant should have been so much better food wise.
This is a wonderful place to go for lunch. Flavorful and quality. Bonus: They have coat hangers everywhere. A nice touch that not a lot of businesses have.
Worst place to charge a Tesla and have to use the restroom. I asked the security guard Remon if there is a restroom available and he said no. He has a horrible arrogance towards me. I asked him where the closest restroom was and he didn’t care to assist me or even find out. After walking around for an hour still no restroom. But I finally ran into a nicer security and he directed me to the portal potties. I won’t be charging my vehicle here and I would not recommend anyone else too
I've had dinner here several times but tonight I encountered a female host who was glum and unfriendly. I was early for my table and I had a reservation but I guess I don't look like the typical clientele they have. It was immediately obvious when another party came in and were greeted in a completely different manner to the way I was treated. I won't be coming back.
Came here a few times and always tried something new and never been disappointed. I’ve been surprised each time actually. Very good food. Even the mac and cheese is great. Burgers are amazing. And the prices are totally average. Very good place.
Fantastic food, great service. Best piece of halibut I've had in a long time. Delicious desserts.
We went here for Thanksgiving and did the prixe fix menu. I got the vegetarian main course and my boyfriend got the traditional meal. The butternut squash started was great. My boyfriend really liked his plate, which included light and dark meat and stuffing; his portions were great. My meal was artichoke and sweet potato and I loved it. We ended with pumpkin pie and espresso. Service was on point. The atmosphere was lovey and classy. Jazz holiday music and seating on the outdoor deck was perfect. 100% will be back.
Fresh food and great dishes. Good service.
We enjoyed some lovely speciality drinks at the bar on an early Sunday afternoon. Such a nice stop. We will do that again and perhaps some lunch next time too.
This is a classy joint with killer cocktails, good food and enough panache for those that like their Americana with a touch of style.
Meatloaf is a must. It was delicious and juicy.
Great setting and atmosphere. Service was very good. The food was only ok.
My partner and I came for Sunday brunch, and really, this would have been 5 stars if not for their patio cover. The food was good - I had the chilaquiles and my partner had the benedict. The portions were reasonable for the price, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. But good lord - they claim they put the plastic patio cover out for the winter, which in theory makes sense, but this is California!! It can't possibly be that hard to put one in that you can open one day easily if it's too hot out. It was quite unpleasant on the patio.
Nice spot, local feel, easy parking, casual and fun (for an older crowd)
Nice environment but way too dark. My lamb was undercooked the potatoes where bland and broccoli was not cut to a manageable length. It was a great night to celebrate a friend but I don't think I'll be making a solo trip any time soon.
Food was tasty and hot. Service was very slow. My waiter seemed like he had some stuff going on, or he hated his job. Or maybe he hates life, or people.
The food was marginal at best but the ambience was nice so the 2 stars are for the ambience alone.
Far and away the best restaurant (in terms of value and quality) within the Presidio. Great atmosphere, service, main courses, desserts, and a really good burger! Many SF restaurants claim to serve a great burger, but don't (I am looking at you, Spruce, and Park Tavern, too!). Presidio Social Club's burger is in fact delicious.
After a full day of visiting the visitor's center and then either hiking or Jump biking all over the park, we walked (even more) to the Presidio Social Club to have a drink and a bite to eat before heading out. The Old Cuban was really tasty! (It had rum, lime, and sparkling wine, so very refreshing.) Then we ordered an appetizer, the cheese toast. It was not at all what we were expecting, but it was quite tasty. This appetizer was more like a small grilled cheese sandwich, with a very delicious sauce (a tomato fondue dip) to dip the sandwich in.
Came here for brunch with some friends. They have indoor and outdoor seating. And really yummy drinks, alcohol and non alcohol. Waiters were attentive. Parking was a bit tricky tho, not much around the area. I ubered there and my friends drove. So go a little early to look for parking.
This is a hidden gem. Everyone is welcome! We happen to come across this place and stepped in to see if they could get us in for dinner, 4ppl, a Friday night! They made it happen and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's formerly a bunker from the old Army days which if you appreciate historic places, they did a beautiful job keeping the charm and feeling some nostalgia. There's a great bar that's pretty fun to meet up for drinks and just chill. Of course, handicap parking and accessability was easy. That's always first and foremost. :)
Damn!! this place is good! Everything's delicious! Classy atmosphere within a historical landmark. Go visit the Yoda fountain at LucasArts if you come here.
Friend and I needed a drink to make up for a lackluster meal at another place. I ordered a Mai Tai and a French 75 for my friend. Added the truffle fries, grilled cheese, and deviled eggs. All three were delicious and were the perfect savory accompaniment to the divine cocktails
Love this place for lunch with friends. Good food and nice atmosphere!
Can’t believe I have never heard of this place before. It is perfect in so many ways. Good service, lovely interior, really great back patio garden. They have parking which is such a pleasant surprise. Oh and then there is the food! The breakfast pastries were all exceedingly good, and between the 11 of us we tried most of the entrées. Everyone was very happy.
A guy and a dog walk into a bar...stop me if you've heard this one. This is THE bar to walk into. If you want great, old school meals and uncannily delicious unique cocktails, with peerless customer service, then the scenic, historic Presidio Social Club should be locked into your "Favorite Destinations." Don't go anywhere near America's famous Golden Gate Bridge without cruising up The Presidio for a welcome break.
Went for a Sunday brunch. Lovely decor but casual vibe. Good size portions and about average price for brunch in the area. Was very busy but didn’t have to wait long. It was a little noise if you are sensitive to that. Tvs over the bar played sports.
Very pleasant environment for a dinner. Had to wait past our reservation but the food and ambiance were great.
We had a great meal. I will go back again. great atmosphere.
Lovely location and space inside. Food is ok. Nothing spectacular. Needs a little more coziness inside to make the ambiance better.
Excellent food. Attentive but not oppressive service. Excellent space to eat and drink in. And all set in the beautiful Presidio. We had dinner there but I hear that brunch is superb too. We will be back.
We had the BBQ special and all the meats served were tender and very tasty. Reasonably priced. The establishment is cozy and quaint. Didn’t get a chance to see the outdoor seating but it looked enchanting, a little chilly for an outdoor dinner. Staff were very attentive and efficient.
A fun, tasty and entertaining location with friendly staff and a menu they frequently change up. Clam bake, special crab menu starting now, and a great bar. Always busy on the weekends, and would be a great place for a private party.
Historic spot with amazing food and cocktails. The chicken soup is a must if your a little under the weather. Staff is really fun and down to earth.
Went for an evening in the city with my Hubby dinner at PSC was wonderful way to start the evening. Everything was DELICIOUS!
Had a great experience and food was tasty. Cocktails are delicious. Coming back for sure.
Literally the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Fantastic place. Fresh ingredients. Great staff. The Vietnamese style Sandwich was delicious. The vanilla creme brûlée cheesecake with raspberries was an explosion of flavors. So good. Highly recommend it.
It is a peaceful ambiance a warm tent in the winter. The club burger was fantastic, the flavor was delicious. And the seasonal desserts are exquisite. Thank you Hunter for the excellent service and knowledge of the menu.
I only visit this place once a year on new year's day. We go for brunch and to drink away our hangovers with the drink called a pain killer. So delicious! The food here is fantastic and comforting. The beignets are great, the French toast is magical, and the service is professional, friendly, and fast. I love the feel of this place. It's busy, but clean and gorgeous.
Everything was delicious. We will be back!
A great place for Sunday brunch with a nice menu of wines and mimosa! The truffle fries are incredible to start with. The mains are great portion sizes for one person. The eggs are especially great. Desserts do justice too. A great experience for a family outing or with friends. Can get especially loud during brunches as it is pretty crowded. Do reserve a table in advance.
Came here a few times and always tried something new and never been disappointed. I’ve been surprised each time actually. Very good food. Even the mac and cheese is great. Burgers are amazing. And the prices are totally average. Very good place.
Delicious, clean and great friendly service. There is a parking fee for a couple but parking is very close by.
A little pricey but loved the atmosphere and the staff was very accommodating.
What a great brunch place! Love the food options and the ambience
